Park of Dreams

A poem written for the relaunch of a community park in Madison County, Green Township, Indiana

In Green Township's embrace, a haven fair,
Lies a park, a sanctuary beyond compare.

Amidst rolling hills and forests lush and grand,

Slides and merry-go-rounds spin with glee,

Tranquil ponds mirror the cerulean sky,
Where ducks glide gracefully, as time goes by.

Couples stroll hand in hand, lost in romance,
Finding solace in nature's elegant dance.

Picnic blankets adorn the emerald grass,
As families and friends come together en masse.
